Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and security standards.

Data Retention

Order records are retained for a minimum of 5 years in line with South African tax and accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time — except where retention is legally required.

Your Rights (POPIA)

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Object to the processing of your information
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@mulberryshop.co.za.

Cookies and Analytics

Our store uses a small number of cookies to keep items in your cart between visits.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages people visit, where they arrived from, and which products are bought. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device to recognise repeat visits. This is used to improve the shop. We do not use cookies to show you advertising, and we do not run advertising networks on this site.

We use the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to see which products are viewed and bought after someone arrives from one of our posts, and so that we can show our products to people who have visited the shop before. It also sets cookies. If you would rather not be included, you can turn off targeted advertising in your Meta ad preferences.

Vercel Analytics also records anonymous visitor counts. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.

You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to browse or buy from us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
